Herve
Herve is a name of at least two artists:
1) A simplification of Hervé, a pseudonym of Joshua Harvey (aka Voodoo Chilli, The Young Lovers, The Count Of Monte Cristal and Action Man), a fidget house / electro house producer, from London, UK. His latest single is Fatboy Slim & Hervé's "Machines Can Do The Work" (Jun 2010, Skint - aka Fatboy Slim vs Herve's "Machines Can Do The Work").
Harvey is a member of Speaker Junk, with Trevor Loveys, who made Basement Jaxx's "Take Me Back To Your House (Speaker Junk Remix)" (Aug 2006, XL) and Spektrum's "Don't Be Shy (Speaker Junk Remix)" (Oct 2006, Nonstop). Together, Harvey and Loveys also run Speaker Junk Recordings.
As well as all this, Harvey records as Dead Soul Brothers. He has an album coming out as The Count & Sinden on Domino Records, Young Lovers on Loungin and the collaboration album Machines Don't Care is out now. For his Machines Don't Care project, Herve has collaborated with Trevor Loveys, Toddla T and Serocee, Detboi, Drop the Lime, Affie Yusef. The second Machines Don't Care volume is due out in March 09. Oh, and he has his own record label called Cheap Thrills.
