Honeyball
Formed in the summer of 1998, in Hungary, Honeyball became reality after Norbi Mérges and Tomi Illés spent years toiling in different bands playing many different styles of music. The twosome experimented with different kinds of music, settling into punk. Balázs Keimer joined up with Norbi and Tomi in 1996, and after a few years of experimentation, their sound evolved into the post-punk ska sound that they are well known for in Hungary. 1998, Honeyball expanded almost exponentially with new members Móni Szemes, Gergo László-Zwickl, Dia Baranyai, Levi Lázár, Vikto, and Peti Kiss.
Their top hit to date is "Boccaccio," and they record in their native language of Hungarian as well as in English.
