Hourcast
Hourcast is a Hard/Alternative Rock band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Their debut album dubbed "State of Disgrace," was released in the summer season of 2006 on Alkamedia Records. They formed when drummer Jerry Clews began collaborating on song ideas with guitarist Dave Henriquez. The two selected Patrick McBride from numerous vocalists who had auditioned. Finally, the line up was completed with Dave Sullivan on bass.
The single from State of Disgrace was the song "Freeze." It was made into a music video, and aired on Fuses' "Uranium," and MTVs' "Headbangers Ball." They also had the song Sakkara featured on the soundtrack for the movie "Saw 3."
Hourcast toured with bands such as Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, and 30 Seconds to Mars in support for their debut album.
It is said that they are working on a new release, scheduled in late winter 2008.
This led to Dystopia, which took the band into much more of a hard rock style, with the keyboards stripped away. Some felt that this was a terrible album, making this a very divisive effort.
