HyoYeon
Kim Hyo-yeon (김효연; born September 22, 1989, in Incheon, South Korea) is a singer, dancer, model, and member of the South Korean idol group, Girls' Generation.
Hyoyeon once attended a hip hop dance school, where she met miss A's Min. The two formed a dance duo called Little Winners (리틀위너스) and performed at various dance showcases. Prior to her debut, Hyoyeon traveled to Beijing, China in 2004 with Super Junior's Siwon to learn Mandarin. Currently, she is a member of the Korean group Girls' Generation, which made it's debut in 2007. In the group, she is a supporting vocalist and main dancer. Her dancing skills in particular have earned her the cherished nickname of "Dancing Queen" among fans and Korean media. She is fluent in Korean and Mandarin Chinese, with basic proficiency in English and Japanese.
In June of 2016, Hyoyeon was featured in the song "Up & Down (Feat. 효연)" from fellow Girls' Generation member 태연 (Taeyeon)'s second mini-album Why. On December 2nd, 2016, she made her solo debut with "Mystery", a single produced for SM Entertainment's SM Station project. Seven months later, on June 2nd, she released her first official single, "Wannabe', featuring San E.
