Inky
1) Originally a five-piece ska-grind group.
2) A alternative/experimental/electronic band from São Paulo, Brazil.
1) INKY was formed an aeon ago in the darkest, mankiest corners of a Norwegian forest which technically shouldn't exist. Originally a five-piece ska-grind group, the band soon disbanded due to musical indifferences. Hairy frontman Inky chose to continue writing songs in their name.
Their debut album, Of Inverted Crosses And Wartorn Shopping Malls, was self-released ten years after the breakup. This was limited to 40 copies, and not a single copy was sold. Nevertheless, Inky considered this album a success. The following year the album was re-released with a bonus track featuring a medley of Britney Spears covers. This release saw great commercial success, staying in the top 10 charts for over three years.
Today, Inky is still making music, but has yet to release a follow-up album. Instead, he bangs his head on his keyboard from time to time and uploads the resulting mp3s to the internet. Sometimes he choose to let people hear these tracks; other times he explicitly forbids people from listening to them, stating that humanity as a whole is "too untrue" for such sounds.
He is currently living in Washington, Washington with his wife, his thirteen children and his other wife.
2) The brazilian band consists of Luiza Pereira, Guilherme Silva, Stephan Feitsma, Victor Bustani.
