Iso68
iso68 is a formation with two different sides. As an electronic duo, Thomas Leboeg and Florian Zimmer create timeless, quiet digital acoustics in the studio. They transform and transcend influences of Dub, Jazz and Ambient music into liquid, transparent, dreamlike but at the same time rational tracks.
Apart from that, Leboeg/Zimmer composed and recorded the soundtrack to Katja Hubers radio play Melonen and set three poems by Robert Lax to music for the compilation Wake up. Re:lax which was released on Intermedium Records in november 2003.
As live duo, Leboeg and Zimmer have toured throughout Europe, together with B. Fleischmann, Christof Kurzmann and Kante. Moreover, Thomas Leboeg is keyboarder of Kante and Florian Zimmer used to be playing in Fred is Dead and Lali Puna. With these bands, he toured several times in Europe and the US.
