Jack Kelly & His South Memphis Jug Band
Little is known about Jack Kelly, the hoarse-voiced singer of the Memphis Jug Band. What is apparent from his music is that he took influences from the various musical types of the time, with a heavy nod to the blues. His entire recorded history last from 1933 to 1939, at least his entire recorded history as it is known.
