Jawbone
There are at least five artists on last.fm by the name Jawbone:
1. Jawbone is the pseudonym of Bob Zabor, an American blues musician from Detroit. Jawbone ain't a virtuoso, he is a one man band, think raw blues, trash, harmonica fueled adrenaline pumped, think Hasil Adkins, Doo Rag, the Oblivians. The instruments he plays include the harmonica, the guitar and the tambourine. He deliberately aims for a lo-fi sound, akin to early blues recordings. He is steadily gaining cult popularity in the UK thanks to appearing on the John Peel show, and also being included on various magazine CDs there.
2. A spirit-filled hardcore band from Evansville, IN on Blood & Ink Records. New 7" out in 2011.
3. Jawbone is/was a band from Grand Rapids, Michigan active in the mid to late-1990s. These five guys enjoy water sports, pinball, chess and power lifting in their spare time. Some of their turn-ons: Spad's Pizza, walks on the beach, Yanni. Turn-offs: lactose intolerance, big air, attitudes. Jawbone released Mr. Jones in 1994 and Shouting Limericks in 1996.
4. A psychedelic/rural rock band from the UK who released one album and three singles between the years 1970-1972.
