During that time, in spite of being offered lucrative, secular recording contracts and opportunities to work with the hottest, most successful producers and executives, Jesse chose to give up the world and all it had to offer for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since then, God has placed the mandate of Psalmodist (One who sings Hymns) on Jesse's life; thus, the birth of "Hymns from the Heart Vol. 1 CD," currently available via jessecampbell.com. As a result of his renewed commitment, he was a featured soloist on the soundtrack of Stephen Spielberg’s film, Prince of Egypt, the soundtrack of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ -The Lady, Her Lover, and Her Lord, The Potters House Choir first and third recordings, and several other discography listed recordings.
