Jordis Unga
Contestant on the 2005 CBS television show "Rockstar: INXS," a competition in which 15 hopefuls got the chance to perform for INXS, with one leaving weekly, and the last remaining rocker winning the grand prize of fronting INXS.
Jordis impressed INXS from the first week, and many saw her as the leading female. She sang many classic rock songs, such as "Baba O'Riley", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Imagine", "Layla", "Gimme Some Lovin'", and David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World", which she later released as a single after being requested for an encore by the band. She also sang modern rock songs, like Hoobastank's "The Reason", and Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box." Jordis wrote and performed her own song while on the show, "Try Not."
At the final 5 stage, Jordis places in the bottom 3 for the second time in two weeks, and after an underwhelming rendition of INXS' "Need You Tonight," she was eliminated from the competition, placing 5th behind Suzie McNeil, MiG Ayesa, Marty Casey, and winner JD Fortune.
In 2012 she competed on the NBC television show "The Voice" on Team Blake. She made it to the top 4 of Team Blake (top 16 overall) before being eliminated.
