KWS
KWS is a British pop / rave act from Nottingham, England consisting of instrumentalists / record producers Chris King and Winston Williams and vocalist Delroy St. Joseph. The band's name came from using the initial letters of each band member's surnames - KWS. They had a number one single in the UK Singles Chart with the double a-side "Please Don't Go" / "Game Boy".
They were subsequently nominated for the Best British Newcomer award at the BRIT Awards in 1993, alongside another covers group, Undercover, drawing much criticism from the British music press.
