Kajsa Grytt
Kajsa Grytt born June 20th, 1961 in Stockholm is a Swedish punk icon, guitarist, singer and songwriter. Sister of Per Grytt.
Kajsa Grytt was singer and guitarist in the band Tant Strul (1979-1985) and the duo Kajsa & Malena (1985-1988 and 1998), she also wrote most of the songs. In 1990 Kajsa formed the short-lived duo De missanpassade (Swedish for "The Misfits"), together with Johan Johansson from KSMB. Kajsa is now a solo artist who made a critically acclaimed comeback in 2003 and since then she has often played with David Giese. She has so far made four solo albums - on the latest album, Brott & Straff ("Crime & punishment", released in March 2006), several of the lyrics were written by female prisoners in Sweden. On the same record Kajsa also sings a duet with Thåström. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
