Kat Cross
Behind the universe of pictures and words stands the dream –which started it all,
my primal inspiration. A blend of feelings and curiosity leads to a sounds exploration, experimentation playing with frames and keeping musicality at the first sight.
Her instruments are her voice and the keyboard, either the organ church’s or the computer’s. It’s the tools she uses in her studio. From the composition to the arrangement, in a studio or on a stage, she works as a musician and a producer.

1996 sang and composed with CABB (Trip Hop), the band takes part in many compilations ( Toulouse n’a pas sommeil , Musika Metak )
2000 The band « Cats are Crazy « with Eric Cosentino (guitarist) with whom she composes the first album « made at home »
2001 Go on under Katcross name in a more intimist universe and finalizes another album “ Work in Progress” always surrounded by Eric Cosentino, Denis Fedabeille and Julien Taillefer.
2002 Here is her chance ! A decisive meet with Tricky himself allows her to take part in his compilation “TrickyBack to Mine ” in the middle of Kate Bush, The Cure,Chet Baker…
2005 Scenic production with Legyl (machines and sounds effects)and Natasha Kail (Video projection)
2006 Plays with the band « Comodor64 », an album is under construction… …
