Kawabata Makoto & The Mothers Of Invasion/河端一×灰皿
2001 : Formed as a solo project by Kawabata. The group's approach was distinct from that of AMT, focusing on a more jazz-rock approach to improvisation.
2002 : The group's first album "Hot Rattlesnakes" (Kawabata on guitar, Tsuyama Atsushi on bass, Ichiraku Yoshimitsu on drums) was released by the UK label Paratactile Records. The line-up has subsequently changed to include Tabata Mitsuru (Zeni Geva) on bass, Mori Kimiho (ex Romp) on drums and the extra member Higashi Hiroshi. This line-up has gigged under the catchphrase "What?" "Hot Rattlesnakes" reissued on CD by Prophase Music 2006. Read more on Last.fm.
