Khleo
Khaleed Leon Thomas (born January 30, 1989 in Anchorage, Alaska), better known simply as Khleo, is an American actor, singer and rapper who was signed to Soulja Boy's SOD Money Gang label. After meeting good friend Bow Wow on the set of the movie Roll Bounce he became interested in pursuing a rap career, and was featured on Bow’s Price of Fame album and signed to LBW Entertainment. He then released his debut album Prince of the West in 2007 and followed this with a couple of online mixtapes including 2010's The World is a Cartoon, which was downloaded 50,000 times in just four days. In 2010 Soulja Boy signed him to his label, and Khleo has since been heavily involved in the label recording songs with Soulja, JBar, Arab and Stefon4u.
In acting he is perhaps best known for his role as Zero in Louis Sachar’s Holes and for guest roles on CSI and House. He also stars in the movie Hurricane Season along with fellow rappers The Game, Lil Wayne and Bow Wow. He also worked on Young Rome’s album True to My Word.
Khleo was born in Anchorage, Alaska, to an African-American father and a Jewish mother from Morocco. His family later moved to California after they moved to Germany. He has two brothers Khadeem(1991) and Khameel(2000), and sister Khaleea(2004). When he was four years old, he saw a television commercial and decided to pursue an acting career, and was encouraged by his mother. He is good at doing imitations of Bill Cosby, Ice Cube, Pat Sajak, and Jackie Chan.
Thomas first appeared in an episode of Kids Say the Darndest Things in 1996 and has been in films such as Holes (based on Louis Sachar’s book Holes), Friday After Next, Walking Tall, and Roll Bounce. During the production of Holes, the actors called him Li’l Khlee Khlee.
On set of the movie Roll Bounce rapper Bow Wow and Khleo worked together and now they work together even more because now he is signed to recording label LBW Entertainment and he is also a well known Hype Man for Bow.
He guest starred in “Poppin’ Tags”, an episode of CSI in 2006. He co-starred on the first episode of the television series Teachers, but it was canceled after only six episodes.
Khleo was a member of the D-Tent Boys of the cast of Holes. One of their songs, “Dig It,” achieved some popularity.
He was featured in Bow Wow’s Fresh Azimiz music video. He also performed alongside Bow Wow him on the Scream IV Tour, at the Kid’s Choice Awards 2006, on the The Tyra Banks Show, on Jimmy Kimmel Live, on 106 and Park, and at the 25th Annual BET Anniversary pre-show
On the artist named Miss Nana’s album I Got The Hood, Volume 1 she wrote a song named The Shakim Khleo Drop/Let it Rain obviously meaning her LB DUB GANG.
