Kip Tyler
Kip Tyler was born Elwood Westerton Smith in Chicago, Illinois on May 29, 1929. He was a rock 'n' roll/rockabilly artist who recorded songs such as Rumble Rock, Jungle Hop (which was covered by The Cramps) and She's My Witch. Well before Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Kip Tyler wore leather and he even had a motorcycle on stage. He didn't become that successful in the music business, but members of his band did become successful in the music business. He did not like talking about his days in rock 'n' roll, he refused to talk about it. He died September 23, 1996 in Los Angeles, California. Read more on Last.fm.
