There are multiple artists recording under the name Kurban.
1. Considered to be one of the most successful rock groups of all time to grace the music scene of Turkey, Kurban is a Turkish band formed in 1995. In 1999 they opened for Metallica in "Ali Sami Yen" stadium located in Istanbul and short after their last big live performance in ROCKISTANBUL in which they opened for Megadeth, they broke-up in 2005. On December 30th, 2006 it was announced on the official Kurban web site that the band is back together.
