La Caution
La Caution is a french alternative rap duo from the Paris suburb of Noisy-Le-Sec (93). The two brothers of Moroccan origins Hi-Tekk & Nikkfurie have built a strong live reputation, releasing various mixtapes and partaking in different projects before the release of their first album "Asphalte Hurlante" (with Dj Fab as third member). This album garnered a lot of positive impressions and La Caution's reputation and dent on the musical landscape was made.
A few years later, in 2004, the instrumental version of their track "Thé À La Menthe" is used in the movie ''Ocean's 12''. Even if for many the discovery of this title comes as a surprise, in France the hip-hop is waiting for La Caution's new double album: ''Peines de Maures/Arc-en-ciel Pour Daltoniens'' (2005) (label: Kerozen).
This is the confirmation for the group. Acclaimed by several webzines as the best french rap album of the year 2005.
Hi-Tekk and Nikkfurie are also part of "L'Armée Des 12" with TTC and Saphir, and "Les Cautionneurs" with Saphir, Izno and 16s64.
