Lazlow
Lazlow Jones known in his works simply as Lazlow is an American talk show host. He was the host of Technofile, a radio show syndicated on more than 50 radio stations in America and can now be heard on XM Satellite Radio. He has also been involved in writing and producing the recent Grand Theft Auto (GTA) video games, widening his influence and recognition far beyond that of a local radio host. Before becoming involved in radio, Lazlow was a professional marketing consultant, working with Reed Tucker, (who is now his radio show's producer,) on advertisements for a variety of consumer products.
Lazlow hosts The Lazlow Show, which aired on the former WXRK (K-Rock) on Sundays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time. The 23rd and final radio show was broadcast December 18, 2005. After the show stopped being broadcast on K-Rock, it has moved to a non-regular schedule on the Opie and Anthony Channel of XM Satellite Radio, beginning on April 8, 2006; these shows are usually made available in downloadable form on Lazlow's website shortly after they air; while the older shows have been, and are regularly removed from this website as new episodes are made available due to bandwidth restrictions. The shows are three hours long, and are aired live on Sunday nights, at a period of between two weeks and four months between shows. Lazlow has done six shows on Opie and Anthony's XM channel 202; premiering April 8, 2006 from 8-11 p.m., followed by; September 16, 2006 from 9 p.m.- 12 a.m., December 2, 2006 from 9 p.m. - 12 a.m., January 27, 2007 from 9 p.m. - 12 a.m., one in July 2007, and the most recent on October 20, 2007 from 9 p.m. - 12 a.m. EST. His co-hosts on the show continue to be Reed Tucker (producer) and "Big" Wayne (Sidekick). He has also released an autographed boxed set (DVD) featuring all 29 episodes of "The Lazlow Show" in MP3 format on his website for $26.
He has also written articles for Playboy magazine, and is a regular guest on the Opie and Anthony Show on XM Satellite Radio which was in the past aired on various CBS Radio and Citadel Broadcasting affiliates. Lazlow is also affiliated with 2600, having appeared on their Off The Hook radio show, in their movie Freedom Downtime, and as a panelist and staffer at several of the H.O.P.E. conferences. Lazlow has arranged voice cameos in the GTA games for several key figures from the magazine, including Emmanuel Goldstein, Bernie S., and Kevin Mitnick. Read more on Last.fm.
