Linda Martini
Linda Martini are an alternative rock band formed in the suburbs of Lisbon, Portugal in 2003. Their first demo was recorded between 2004 and 2005 and in 2006 they release their first EP along with their first album Olhos de Mongol. Linda Martini are André Henriques (vocals, guitar), Cláudia Guerreiro (bass, harmonica), Hélio Morais (drums) and Pedro Geraldes (guitar). Sérgio Lemos (guitar) quit the band before the recording of their second album.
Following their first EP and LP, the band began to draw attention mainly of its country's youth and enjoyed a growing success with the release of the EPs Marsupial (2008) and the live-recorded Intervalo (2009). In 2010, the second album, Casa Ocupada, was released, debuting at #4 in the Portuguese Album Chart. Turbo Lento is their third studio album, released in September 2013 and Sirumba the fourth, released in April 2016. In February 2018, the fifth studio album was released with a self-titled album Linda Martini revealing the woman who inspired the band name.
