Linda Pritchard
Talent, charisma and a whole lot of star quality are just a few words to describe singer Linda Pritchard. Her artistic story began in her early years, when, as she describes, basically started to sing before she could talk. What sounds like a phrase from an Abba song was actually the start of her future career.
During Linda's school years she focused on music and dance as she attended the famous Adolf Fredriks Music School and SWAY's three year long dance program.
Lindas first job in the music business was when she started working as a dancer and singer at the renowned Wallmans Salonger in Stockholm. She auditioned for Tess Merkel (Alcazar) who hired the artistic and talented girl right on the spot.
Linda is nowadays a well-known face on stage and has worked for many different artists and shows, including the Swedish competition for the Eurovision Song Contest, Melodifestivalen. Her driven personality has made many Swedish as well as international stars wanting to work with her. To mention a few, we find among them Celine Dion, Ace of Base, Andreas Lundstedt and Velvet.
Her solo career took of when she was spotted by Swedish hit producer team Crossfade Productions and signed to a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.
Since then she has been travelling between Stockholm and Los Angeles busy working on songs for her debut album. The first results are the single Fast Car, produced by Quara Rankin (Christina Aguilera) and Crossfade as well as the front face and the voice for the Swedish Heart and Lung Foundation.
2010 will set off Linda's career to a new level as she will compete in Melodifestivalen as a solo artist with the track You Making Me (Hot Hot Hot). The debut album, with producers such as Mystery Men (Ne-Yo), is set for a spring release and the future looks no other than bright for this talented young artist.
