Lipstixx 'n' Bulletz
The Swedish band Lipstixx’N’Bulletz started to take form in the summer of 2005 when Andy and Rikki one drunken night decided to write some loud and sleazy rock n`roll songs.
Growing up listening to bands like Hanoi Rocks, Ratt, Vain, LA Guns and Tigertailz they knew exactly how they wanted the band to sound like and how it should look like.
That meant like cheap drunken whores with big dicks that plays loud kick ass rock n`roll in a sleaze, glam, hair metal kind of way.
After writing a whole lot of songs it was time for the next mission, finding a drummer and a bass player. They both knew this loud hard hitting horny as hell guy named Jonny who didn`t seem to remember any of those late night (early mornings) drinking events when Andy and Rikki tried to get him on board. When they finally asked him during day light and he knew what they were talking about he said – Hell Yeah ! Jonny Wizzer was on board. The three of them started to look for a bass player but no one seemed to fit right in.
Then one night this guy Jamiee came up to them and said – Well, how about me? They all kind of knew Jamiee and that he was a really cool cat but they didn`t know if he could play bass guitar. – Well can you play ? they asked.
– Of course I fucking can, Jamiee said.
He had all the attributes in spades so he got the job with no doubts.
After a lot of rehearsals and a lot of stupid fights they recorded Lipstixx’N’Bulletz first demo called “Livin in the fastlane” and played their first live show that was sold out. They were fucking brilliant, people went crazy and rocked like hell. After the show people broke through doors and started to fuck and I got fired as their manager because I got really drunk and gave away all their merchandise for free, but it is all in the name of rock n`roll like everything is with these guys.
The recording of their second ep “Bite the bullet” didn’t slip by smoothly this time either, fights and wild discussions after each other made it to an untenable situation.
So after a big fight Jonny Wizzer decided to quit the band. But a blessing in disguise was that the recordings of the album were practically finished.
So the search for a new drummer began and they found him on the other side of the bar, Lefty Guns, he had the look, attitude and he was an amazing drummer and a bartender…… A drinking buddy who also could serve them alcohol, he was their man of course.
After the new line up and the new songs out on myspace they started to get a lot of offers and the interest from the public was massive, they were on a roll.
In the beginning of August they had their song “Love in a needle” on the compilation record Glamnation vol 1 released by 272 records (USA) and their song “Do or Die” on the including cd in the September issue of the Bubblegumslutzine (England).
They also started to get air play on various radio shows and did some interviews for a few newspapers.
With some upcoming shows things really started to loosen up for the boy’s and when you think that everything seems to go their way it just get better, Sleaszy Rider Records wanted to sign (a record deal with) them.
So now when the bits 'n pieces are in place and with a record company in their back they are hungry as hell and so fucking loaded to take over the world.
