Maritta Kuula
Maritta Kuula is a finnish singer-songwriter who started her musical career in the 80's controversial band 500 kg lihaa which among other things played interpretation of poems by finnish poet Uuno Kailas. in 1992 she started her solo career when her debut album Maritta Kuula ja karvanopat was published.
Maritta Kuula is famous of her personal and original voice control; she can sound both like a little girl and femme fatale. Her music also has some suprising adaptations and every key and tone is well considered.
Even though kritics have praised Maritta's music she hasn't made popular mainstream hits but instead she has a strong cult status. Probably her most well known hit is song "Mä en tarvi äitii" from the record Valo ota vastaan (1997).
