Marshall Watson
Born in Alabama, raised in Louisiana, educated in Washington and now residing in San Francisco, I've called many places home. In 1999, I bought my first rig, consisting of an Ensonique ASR-X, a Roland JX-305 Groovesynth, a Korg Wavestation and a cracked version of Cakewalk. That was when I started down this long road of producing electronic music, and since then, have never looked back. In 2004 I released my first album, The Time Was Later Than He Expected, on the now defunct Highpoint Lowlife Records. I had one more full length album with HPLL before they closed their doors, as well as several eps and singles released on various labels including Car Crash Set, Volkeran Records, Peloton Musique, Celsius Recordings, Influenza Media and most recently Loöq Records in San Francisco. I am now the Music Director at Sirius Sound where I act as a composer, music manager, mix engineer and sound designer. I occasionally DJ at the long running Qoöl Happy Hour and have a monthly residence at Eclipse Salon. Read more on Last.fm.
