Michael Cashmore
Michael Cashmore is an English composer and songwriter. He is the creator and main contributor to the band Nature and Organisation, which released two albums and an EP in the 1990s, combining ambient piano, classical and experimental songs. Cashmore is also an important member of Current 93 and has written the music for many of Current 93's songs over the last 15 years.
Cashmore has also collaborated with numerous artists including Steven Stapleton, Douglas P. of Death In June, Fire & Ice, Antony, Sorrow, Marc Almond and others.
In 2006 Cashmore released "Sleep England" an album under his own name of haunting guitar-based music. This was followed in early 2007 by a mini-album "The Snow Abides" which features vocals by Antony (Antony and the Johnsons).
In 2008 Cashmore released a 2 track collaborative cd (the first in a series) with singer Marc Almond titled "Gabriel and The Lunatic Lover". His homepage is at http://www.myspace.com/michaelcashmore
