Mokushi
Mokushi (Simeon Dotkov) is a Bulgarian Hard-Techno Project which started in a schranz/hardcore direction, but eventually settled down on 160 BPM covering the Hard-Techno style in its own way. The beats are distinctive and so is the structure of the songs. The sound is anything, but minimal and is full of Bulgarian and Japanese samples (including a lot of authors speech and singing) and a lot of remixes of obscure bands and tracks. The structures are not typically hard-techno, but have breakdowns and build-ups, like hardcore and hardstyle tracks, making the music kind of unique.
At live events I play ONLY my own tracks. I have a lot of other musical projects like Animassacre and my personal soundtrack initiative, but Mokushi proved to be the most stable and powerful project up till now. I'm also a big fan of Japanese cinema and music; Especially J-Core, Hardcore and J-Rap. Science Fiction, Cyberpunk and War movies are an important part of my music and I implement a lot of what I like into it, such as Anime themes and statements. Read more on Last.fm.
