Monique Morelli
Monique Morelli is born (as Monique Dubois) in Béthune, 19 December 1923. She lives and dies in Montmartre, 27 April 1993. Meanwhile, she sings… In 1962 she opens a cabaret - le Père Ubu - where Brigitte Fontaine, Colette Magny and many other artists are welcomed.
After the failure of her study in pharmacy, she moves to Paris and became an actress in theater du Vieux-Colombier and then - in Cirque d'hiver, before starting to sing. In 1949, she participates in the opening of the cabaret La Rose rouge.
