Mönster
Mönster was formed in May 2004 by
Alexandre (Born Dead Icons, ex-The Black Hand)
Jobst (ex-Peace of Mind, ex-highscore)
Marek (Insuiciety, ex-dysmorfofobia)
Matthias (ex-A Thin Red Line, ex-Costa's Cake House)
The band started as a project, but after realizing that such a good chemistry shouldn't be blown off in the air, decision was made to take it out of the practice space. The fisrt two concerts confirmed that the audience could also relate to this energy. In terms of sound, comparisons have been made to the modern Swedish-Crust-Portland sound with a good measure of rocking riffs and a classic straight forward hardcore feel.
When Alex moved back to Canada we got help from Frytek on drums (ex-Lost, ex-Disable). Iffi (ex-MVD, ex-Ugly Aesthetics, Cold war) joined in April 2005 and stayed until December 2007. Marek left the band in June 2007. We played with Steven (ex-The Yellow Press, ex-Torches to Rome) and Scheich (ex-Eradicate and tons of other bands) for a while, but as of summer 2008 Iffi is back on drums and Daniel (ex-Migra Violenta, Verdunkeln) joined on bass.
