Naminé
Naminé is the moniker of young Melbourne, Australia local Darcy Baylis. Drawing from a wide range of influences including melancholic R&B producers 40 and The-Dream, 90s house, shoegaze and the video games of Square-Enix, Naminé can be best described as cinematic electronic music.
After two self-releasing EPs, EP (2010) and Neon (2011), and the Velvet 7" through Life Aquatic (2011), in 2013, Baylis released his debut album, Celestial Love on Melbourne's Bossman Records. Characterised by lush synths, immersive low-end and measured, hypnotic tempo, the album also features Collarbones' Marcus Whale on Pocahontas tribute, 'Haruka'. Read more on Last.fm.
