Narcotic Fields
Olomouc band Narcotic Fields was founded in 2007 by Tomáš Bayer and Tereza Kopecká. Later, the band
expanded to six members: Tereza Kopecká: vocals, Tomáš Bayer: programming and keyboards, backing vocals, Mojmír Havlík: guitar, Zdeněk Pospíšil: guitar, Roman Vičík: bass, Ctirad Tomas: drums. Band's sound is mainly influenced by Bristol trip hop, guitar indie scene and electronic music.
In the beginning of 2008, not even a year after its foundation, they won czech prestigious music contest called Boom Cup. Consequently, they performed on the Czech Television show Dobré ráno (Good morning), made
a radio interview (Český rozhlas Ostrava) and induced the media interest. In the summer of 2008, NF played at Colours of Ostrava music festival and Summer Film School Uherské Hradiště. They also supported a number of concerts of various artist such as Khoiba, Načeva, Ohm-Square, Roe-Deer, The Prostitutes, Kill the Dandies! or Steve Morell (Berlin).
In February, 2009 NF performed on Kultura.cz (the show of CT2). In March the band released their debut album Erase (under the Indies MG Records label), which was introduced in the Olomouc club 15minut. This event was followed by a Skateshop.cz Erase Tour 09.
Year 2010 is mainly about touring all over Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. In studio, NF are concentrated on remixes (f. ex. for bands Montage or Hope Atronaut - released 2011)
