Nick Thompson
BIOGRAPHY
Nick Thompson is a solo acoustic fingerstyle guitarist based in New York. He grew up in Boston but put out his first album of instrumental music in 1995 while living in California.
His style is most often compared to Leo Kottke, John Fahey, or more modern players like Kaki King. His most popular album, Lend me your Ears, is described as one guy, plucking and slapping away with no singing. 6-string, 12-string and microtonal guitars and a few duets with a trumpet player.
