Norisiam-X
Introducing URALi AKA Norisiam-X
At a young age, Norisiam-X was inspired by the influential actress Whoopi Goldberg. Around the same time she was influenced by Michael Jackson, especially his hit video/single Thriller. As soon as Norisiam-X reached her late teens she was introduced to the "club scene." She immediately fell in love with the "vibe," which brought about her passion for MC'ing and singing. When she travelled to New York Harlem, the experience she had overseas finalised her decision to follow a serious music career.
In 2004, Norisiam-X signed with Colombia Music Entertainment, and proceeded to host a regular FM programme in Yokohoma. She then released her debut album "Brave New World," which featured her single "Pop Them Bottles" with singer JAY'ED. This single was used a promotional stunt for the Zima (An American alchopop.) In 2005 Norisiam-X released her 2nd album "N☆X☆R☆2" which contained 24 tracks.
After her 2nd album release Norisiam-X decided to go travelling for 3 years. Out of the many places she visited she travelled to the UK to understand the UK music scene which helped her to create the 3rd album. During the completion of her 3rd album Norisiam-X changed her name to URALi. In 2009 "URALi" released her 3rd album "DEPARTURE", which featured the smash hit single "My Life Is One Way" with singer EMI MARIA. Despite the non - promotion the single reached NO.1 in the Japanese ring tone charts (Rekochoku club) and rose to NO.2 in the official Japanese music charts.
In 2010 URALi released her most recent single to date, "i.M.G…" and in 2012 she released the mini album "LOVE is LIFE"
