One Hundred Words for Snow are an indie/emo trio originally from Southern California consisting of David Kurutz (guitar/vox), Nathan Wojahn (drums), and Aaron Thompson (bass). Chris Whyte joined in 1997 playing second guitar and backup vox. The band existed from 1995-1998, playing shows with Jimmy Eat World, Far, Sensefield, Jejune, i Wish i, Kill Holiday, Enewetak, and Fall Silent.
After their break up in 1998, Chris and Nathan went on to form Cheswick. Aaron got married, moved to San Diego, went to law school, and then became San Diego's premier wedding photographer.
David received his Bachelors in Classical Guitar from CSU Fullerton, and played with the Paul Bailey Ensemble, Glenn Branca, Run Dash Sprint, Metal Fences, and Counterpoint Culture. After moving to New York city in 2007, he played guitar in Demander and bass in Ancient History.
