Péri
Periandro Cordeiro Nogueira (born September 14, 1963) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and producer from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Considered by many critics as one of the best new images representing Brazilian music, Péri, among bossa nova and samba influences, amuses us due to delightful melodies and charming lyrics.
A Cama e a TV (1997), Morda Minha Língua (2001), Ladainha (2003), Samba Passarinho (2005), Segundo Tempo (2007), O Meu Maior Amor do Mundo (2008) and Vibe (2009) form his discography. Furthermore, Morda Minha Língua was recorded by Snow Creek, an L.A.'s label and turned into a videoclip in 2002.
Samba Passarinho was one of the finalists in Grammy Latino 2006, Tim Prize 2006 and Rumos Project Itaú 2005. Péri has had songs recorded by many recognized Brazilian names, such as Gal Costa, Vânia Abreu, Jussara Silveira, Ceumar and Margareth Menezes. Read more on Last.fm.
