Patrick W. Carr
Pat Carr was born in Louisiana and grew up listening to some great Southern soul and R&B from artists such as Irma Thomas, Professor Longhair, Slim Harpo, Rufus Thomas, Clarence Frogman Henry, Dr. John, and Aaron Neville. He was also listening to rock & roll, blues, jazz, and country at an early age and started playing piano and guitar.
Put Yourself In My Place is a CD of songs drawn from all those early influences. It contains over an hour of blues, blues-rock, and a little bit of soul, jazz, and country. The title song is one of Pat's gospel blues tunes.
