Pertegò
Pertegò is an artistic project born in Piacenza, Italy, by the hand of Khristian, Emanuele, Alessandro and Marco. The four musicians worked for years refining their common passion for northern-ambient sounds, setting the table for the creation of their unique original sound. Several collaborations ( Valentina Rossetti, Orazio Arabia) took place in their first studio work, a 2 tracks demo called Pertegò. Pertegò projects utilize more than just CD recording, they range from soundtracks to theatrical performances and readings, as well as visual work. Other highlights of the band are their live shows, resulting from a perfect mix of music and visuals, arousing highly emotional performances. These shows are not only presented on typical stages, but also in theaters and natural scenarios around northern Italy and other countries. The band also collaborates with a string quartet and an independent television station for soundtracks. In August 2008 they released Hjarta, the second EP by the band, available in a 200 copies limited and numbered edition to celebrate their summer Icelandic tour. The EP, produced by Collapsed Records, contains 8 tracks and defines the sound of the band. Most recently another single called 100 Rad has been released by Collapsed Records and Pertegò. In 2010 they plan the release of the band's first album and documentary, directed by Thomas Piccioni and Paolo Ferrari, showing the places where Pertegò were born with a completely original soundtrack.
