Pudge
Pudge was formed in Stockbridge, WI by three brothers in 1996. They were heavily influenced by Grunge, Moldy Oldies, and Classic Rock. Together, they abused their hearing in their parents basement practicing for hours a day. July 1996 they entered Butch Vig's Smart Studios in Madison to record their first E.P.
Pudge continued to hone their live skills while pushing promotion for their debut E.P. 1999 saw the release of their first album (Pudge). The self titled album was a combination of songs they had recorded but had not yet been included on a full album.
The band then went dark only playing a handful of shows a year as the brothers lived apart in different parts of the country. Eventually the band came back together to record the album "Closer to You". The band promoted the album by playing festivals and a live PBS taping of the 30 Minute Music Hour.
Fast forward to 2018 which saw the release of "Open Cuts". The band doesn't plan to stop any time soon as they have already recorded four tracks at famed Pachyderm Studios in Canyon Falls, MN. They're also in the process of recording a single with Bill Manspeaker of Green Jello which will be released later in the year. Read more on Last.fm.
