Pukka Orchestra
Toronto based band from the eighties featuring Graeme Williamson, Neil Chapman and Tony Duggan-Smith with a host of other great players. Creativity abounded and but for a twist of fate, well maybe twists of fate, they would have ruled the world!
I should know, I was one of them!
--- I'll add that I wasn't one of them, but I have to add that they were best known for the songs Cherry Beach Express, Might As Well Be On Mars, and the brilliant Listen To The Radio.
--- fan addition: Listen To The Radio was written by Tom Robinson and Peter Gabriel as "Atmospherics". source: http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/Pop_Encyclopedia/P/Pukka_Orchestra.html
--- Just a fun fact for you all to read. My dad once hired Pukka Orchestra to play in the Welland Arena back in the early 80's. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
