Rasa ir Jonas
Rasa ir Jonas is a neofolk / folk rock duo from Žagarė, Lithuania, formed by Rasa Bubulytė and Jonas Čepulis. They combine traditional Lithuanian folk music with pop, rock and electro.
Two young and ambitious singers became famous in 2006 through the TV show project "Dangus“ (“the sky”) where they met. Soon after deciding to make this project their debut album "Saulala Raudona“ ("red sun“) was released. The following year debut had made it into the “Radiocentras 2007 Awards” with two nominations and received the awards for Best Alternative and Best Debut.
While playing in festivals and other live shows the band shared the stage with many Lithuanian artists such as Svaras (G&G Sindikatas). Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
