Richard Walters
Richard Walters (born 27 June 1982 in Oxford) is an English singer-and multi-instrumentalist.
Ex Theremin (Shifty disco Records) frontman, released his first solo Ep in May 2004 on Beard Museum Records. "Umbrella songs" produced by Andy Lovegrove which received lovely reviews the world over and caught the attention of Nic Harcourt, presenter of cult Los Angeles radio show 'Morning becomes eclectic' on KCRW. A new 5 track ep - 'Pilotlights' - will be released in Febuary 2007 on Big Scary Monsters Recordings, feauturing tracks produced by Guy Sigsworth (Frou frou, bjork, Madonna) and David Kosten (Faultline, Bats for lashes, Ben Christophers).
Walters toured with Gemma Hayes and Dave Matthews and the track 'All at sea' featured on the hit US tv show 'CSI:MIAMI'.
Walters was part of mono band, the side project of Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan, who released their debut Lp in May 2005 in Ireland to critical acclaim.
