Ruinizer
Pioneers of the term/genre/religion/subculture "swaggrotech", RUINIZER set out (presumably unsuccessfully) to carve their own niche the electronic music scene, with various other artists worldwide catching wind of it and adopting the tag for themselves.
Formed originally in 2011 by songwriter and vocalist Jay Ruin, who invited long time comrades Richy Bones (CROWNS OF BONE), Dayve Yates (CEASE2XIST) and Jake Tugby AKA "Tugboat" (CEDIGEST), the name RUINIZER quickly became synonymous with pushing genre boundaries, mixing elements from an industrial aggrotech formula with current popular music trends such as Trap and EDM to create a sound unique to their brand of explicit, unapologetic noise.
