Ryan Enzed
2011 saw Ryan Enzed storm his way onto the dance music scene. Many will recognise Enzed from his cult hit ‘nzmusic101’ youtube channel started twelve months ago. Proving himself to be one of the nice guys in the industry Enzed has released over 125 free tutorials covering a variety of aspects of music production. Since its inception twelve months ago Enzed’s youtube channel has hit the milestone of three million channel views and is continuing to grow rapidly. He is regularly the most viewed musician in his home country of New Zealand and his popularity has helped him to gain over 16,000 subscribers.
Enzed’s first major break came when the infamous Big Fish Recordings signed him for a two track EP. The label, run by chart topping artists Lazy Rich and Hirshee, is renowned for producing some of the biggest tracks in the electronic dance music world. Enzed’s originals ‘FTCA’ and ‘Snow Shower’ proved as popular as his youtube channel. Both tracks quickly raced into Beatport’s Electro House Top 100 Chart. Enzed’s success with Big Fish provided a vital kick-start to his career.
Soon after his worldwide success on Beatport Enzed was approached by various labels with remix offers seeking his highly detailed, signature electro house sound. Enzed produced an official remix for rising electro star Rabbit Killer, amongst others. He also remixed Hirshee’s ‘So Good’ which featured as the number one song on Beatport’s Dubstep charts for nearly four weeks. Enzed also found further success with his original productions. His tracks have been signed to some of the biggest international Electronic labels including Big Fish, Bazooka, Sick Slaughterhouse, Big Alliance, Braslive, Royal Fetish, One Platinum and more.
Enzed's 2012 has been a very good one so far. First his collaborative track with electro giant Vodge Diper, was picked up by the infamous Bazooka Records, and found its way peaking at #26 in the Beatport Electro Charts.
Perhaps his biggest achievement is his official remix for superstar Porter Robinson. Enzed's remix of his track 'I'm On Fire' again raced its way into Beatport's Top 20 Electro House Charts where it remained for sometime.
2011 and 2012 has also seen Enzed get behind the decks to perform at a variety of events in his home country. Playing in some of the biggest events and supporting top artists such as Feed Me, Lazy Rich, Mord Fustang and more. Enzed has also released popular synth preset packs and drum samples for sale. Through his website Enzed established a hugely successful music production forum. The self titled workaholic also began offering a mastering service which soon led to his appointment as the new mastering engineer for leading label, Sick Slaughterhouse Records. As a result of his work he now masters music for some top artists along with being the mastering engineer for several new labels including Antiblaze and GlueBall Recordings.
With Enzed’s following continuing to grow and support for his tracks from many DJs worldwide Enzed has become impossible to ignore.
