SSG
There are two bands named SSG:
1. SSG (Lithuania), full name Svastikos, Sukites Greitai (Swastika, Spin Fast) is a Lithuanian alternative rock band formed in 1988. Band’s frontman is Algirdas Ramanauskas (vocal), a known nowadays TV person in Lithuania.
SSG’s songs mirror various political and social issues in a sarcastic light with a grain of irony.
2. SSG (Sweden) is a new project fronted by Swedish singer Izzy Lindqwister (Rodeo Massacre) & Chris Constantinou (Adam and The Ants, The Wolfmen). The collaboration started very naturally when Chris guested on Rodeo Massacre’s album If You Can’t Smoke ’Em Sell ’Em during the summer 2010. A few months after that first studio experience, Izzy and Chris bounced off a few ideas & demos and went back to the studio to record a few tracks. SSG was born. A stunnning psycho-folk cover produced by Paul Frazer of the great Praise You by Fat Boy Slim is officially introducing SSG and the debut EP will be released in late September. The video was shot in Tokyo, Japan, and is from French director Thomas Delebecque (Minitel Rose, The Parisians); it is the beautiful & surprising journey to discover the coolest street dancers of Japan. The lead single Praise You is already available via digital download. Get the single now folks! Read more on Last.fm.
