Sallan ja Miron matka maailman ympäri
Sallan ja Miron matka maailman ympäri is a Finnish pop band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2011 by singer Salla Hätinen (also known as Sallamarja) and multi-instrumentalist Miro Palokallio (Vamma, Unhappy Free Orc). Their first song Älä tartu mun siipiini was submitted to a song contest and it came in second in the public vote. They also received an honorary mention.
In May 2012, they released their first EP, Ääriviivat EP. Though they were unsigned at the time, the EP quickly sold out. They were chosen to participate in the semifinal stage of the Rock Championship of Finland 2012, but they pulled out in August due to signing a record deal with Suomen Musiikki.
Their debut album, Tarinoita, was released in April 2014. Miro produced the album himself. Live band members Aarni Palokallio and Aku Rouhe contributed all drum and bass parts to the album, respectively.
The live band consists of
Salla - vocals & kantele
Miro - guitar, keyboards, melodica, glockenspiel & backing vocals
