Sample Rippers
Sample Rippers are the producers and DJs Paul Hutsch and Picco. Both have been working in the dance business for more than 15 years. In the mid-nineties, Paul Hutsch released his first tracks on “Alphabet City”. Today, he’s the producer behind countless projects including 89ers, Rave Allstars, Drop Kicks, Greatest Deejay or Heiko and Maiko, just to name a few. In the past years, he has been involved in several chart hits throughout Europe which lead him to remix tracks of artists like Safri Duo, Floorfilla, Rocco, Bass-T or Bangbros. As a DJ, he’s constantly touring Europe. DJ Picco started his carreer in 1995 when he founded Avancada. The project stormed the charts worldwide with its smash hit „Motherfucker Go!“ and won an Ibiza Music Award. More projects like A-Seven, Bass Inc. or Activators followed. With „It Goes On and On“ and „Junp All Around“, he paved the way for the “Jump Style” genre in Germany. In the past years, he has remixed the tracks of more than thirty acts, including U96, Sash!, Bangbros, Central Seven, Master Blaster and the Baha Men’s US No. 1 hit “Who let the dogs out”. He received his first gold and platinum record 2000 for his remix of the Sash! classic “Adelante”.
