Scott Reeder
Scott Reeder's career started when he began playing with Scott Wino in The Obsessed. Following this short venture, Reeder filled in the vacant bassist position in Kyuss left behind by Nick Oliveri. He played in Kyuss from 1993 till the band broke up in 1997.
Following Kyuss, Reeder began to dabble more in the production side of the music industry. Albums of note include Orange Goblin's Coup de Grace, Sunn O)))'s Black One, and even produced the sound track to cult film "2 Days in the Valley". Not to say Scott Reeder hasn't been active musically also. He has contributed to Unida with John Garcia (Formerly of Kyuss also) ,Pete Stahl's Goatsnake, has contributed to the popular earthings?'s self-titled, and a strong solo career beginning with the popular Sucking the 70's compilation. In 2002 he took place in audition for Metallica's bassist which included the likes of Robert Trujillo and Pepper Keenan.
In January of 2006 he released his debut solo album 18 years in the making, Tunnelvision Brilliance.
Currently, Scott plays in a band named Butcher. He also has three solo songs coming out on Sucking the 70's 2, a tribute to Fred Drake and the sound track for the movie in production, "Jailbait".
Scott, with long time friends like John McBain, first Monster Magnet guitarist, and Isaiha Mitchell, is working on the project to give life to an interesting new psych-band, called The Freeks.
