Shrek
There are at least two artists using the name Shrek
1) Shrek is a large, green, physically intimidating ogre with a Scottish accent. Although his background is something of a mystery, it is assumed that despite these traits, Shrek has always been an ogre of the non-hostile kind as he loves peace and solitude and lives in a swamp.
2) Shrek is a band put together by guitarist Marc Ribot from Tzadik record regulars. They released one record in 1999 called "Yo! I Killed Your God", which consisted mostly of live recordings from 1992-1994. Read more on Last.fm.
