Sidney Polak
Sidney Polak (real name: Jarosław Polak) - born in 1972 in Warsaw. Polish musician, composer, songwriter.
A drummer in T.Love since 1990. In 2004 he released a solo, self-titled, album which contains reggae, hip-hop and folk influenced songs. The album has been a huge commercial success, Sidney received 6 nominations for the Fryderyki award of 2004 (has won in 3 categories: composer of the year, author of the year and best album - alternative).
A new album, 'Cyfrowy Styl Życia' is scheduled to be released in march 2009.
The nickname 'Sidney' originated from one of T.Love's concerts, where the leader, Muniek Staszczyk, introduced him as Sidney Pollack, a film director that Polak isn't really fond of.
