Sow
There are at least two bands/artist using the name Sow:
1.
Sow was the musical project of Anna Wildsmith (d. 30 September 2016). Raymond Watts (Pig), for a long time Wildsmith's boyfriend, was also heavily involved in the production of the major releases, as the well-known "Je M'Aime". Among the artists who have contributed to Sow releases are Sascha K of KMFDM, J.G. Thirlwell of Foetus and Rob Henry of Euphonic.
Sow mixes ambient and symphonic music with spoken words and poetry, in English, French or Italian, dealing with Anna's disgust of men, mostly inspired by her difficult lovelife with Watts.
Sow's releases were published on I, Absentee, Invisible Records, Blue Noise, Yellow Ltd., and Hyperium Records. SOW's third album 'Dog' was a decade in the making, and saw release March 16, 2010 on I, Absentee.
2.
sow is a four-piece post-rock/instrumental outfit formed in 2008 in Kyoto, Japan. Members are: Kazuaki Yoshimura on guitar, Yuki Nitanda on piano & synths, Takahiro Yamashita on bass and Genya Yamada on drums.
