That Kid C-G
Craig Grant Lashley (born April 2, 1991, Harlem, NY) is an American hip-hop artist. Known by his stage name That Kid C-G, he resides in Pocono, PA (originally from Harlem) and is currently enrolled at St. John's University in Queens, NY, where he studies marketing. Influenced by veteran rappers such as 2Pac, Kanye West and 50 Cent, he released two mixtapes thus far ('Lifestyles of the Rich and Swellegant', 'Swell-U: Winter Break') and has proven himself among his peers that he has a gifted flow, catchy hooks and thought-provoking, clever lyricism dealing with serious real-life issues and on other occasions, having fun and never looking back. He has an affiliation with long-time school friend Chidera 'Chiddy' Anamege, rapper and one-half of the alternative hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang. C-G and Chidera have collaborated on many songs, most notably 'Get In Your Zone' and 'Translation', which are on C-G's mixtapes. More recently, 'Swell-U: Winter Break' has songs produced by Boi-1da and XV, and he is quickly making a name for himself in the hip-hop community. Read more on Last.fm.
